Albedo is one of the few Genshin Impact characters that’s tremendously F2P friendly. Another example is a character like Arataki Itto, whose one of his best weapons, Whiteblind, can be obtained via forging.
When he was first released in version 1.2, the best Albedo weapon in Genshin Impact was Harbinger of Dawn. But later on, HoYoverse released an event that rewards a Sword that’s highly suitable for the Chief Alchemist. This Sword is capable of outperforming even 5-star weapons.
1/5 Cinnabar Spindle
Base ATK | 454 |
Sub-Stat | 69.0% DEF |
R5 Passive | Elemental Skill DMG is increased by 80% of DEF. The effect will be triggered no more than once every 1.5s and will be cleared 0.1s after the Elemental Skill deals DMG. |
Cinnabar Spindle is easily an S tier Albedo weapon in Genshin Impact. Other than having DEF sub-stat, its passive is also catered to match Albedo’s kit. Unfortunately, this Sword is an event-exclusive, so those who missed it won’t be able to get one.
2/5 Harbinger of Dawn
Base ATK | 401 |
Sub-Stat | 46.9% Crit DMG |
R5 Passive | When HP is above 90%, increases Crit Rate by 28%. |
Those who don’t have Cinnabar Spindle can instead use Harbinger of Dawn. This Sword was Albedo’s best option before Cinnabar Spindle was released, and it ranks in the S- tier for him now.
3/5 Primordial Jade Cutter
Base ATK | 542 |
Sub-Stat | 44.1% Crit Rate |
Passive | HP increased by 20%. Additionally, provides an ATK Bonus based on 1.2% of the wielder’s Max HP. |
Primordial Jade Cutter’s performance for Albedo varies based on how often players use his Elemental Burst; in short, Cinnabar Spindle is far more practical to use, so this 5-star Sword places in the A+ tier.
4/5 Mistsplitter Reforged
Base ATK | 674 |
Sub-Stat | 44.1% Crit DMG |
Passive | Gain a 12% Elemental DMG Bonus for all elements and receive the might of the Mistsplitter’s Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, Mistsplitter’s Emblem provides a 8/16/28% Elemental DMG Bonus for the character’s Elemental Type. The character will obtain 1 stack of Mistsplitter’s Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals Elemental DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Burst (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack’s duration is calculated independently. |
Mistsplitter Reforged has a nice Crit DMG sub-stat, so like Primordial Jade Cutter, this Sword performs better the more players use Albedo’s Elemental Burst. However, he won’t be able to properly utilize its passive, so this Sword has to settle with the A tier.
5/5 Freedom-Sworn
Base ATK | 608 |
Sub-Stat | 198 Elemental Mastery |
Passive | Increases DMG by 10%. When the character wielding this weapon triggers Elemental Reactions, they gain a Sigil of Rebellion. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field. When you possess 2 Sigils of Rebellion, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain “Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance” for 12s. “Millennial Movement: Song of Resistance” increases Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack DMG by 16% and increases ATK by 20%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Rebellion for 20s. Of the many effects of the “Millennial Movement,” buffs of the same type will not stack. |
Freedom-Sworn is not the most common Albedo weapon in Genshin Impact, but it still ranks in the A tier for its utility. Albedo won’t benefit much from its Elemental Mastery sub-stat, but if players manage to trigger Crystallized often, then they can activate the passive and gain 20% ATK along with a 16% bonus for Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack.
