Faruzan owns an Anemo Vision in Genshin Impact, and she has a supportive role in combat. Through her Elemental Burst, Faruzan grants an Anemo DMG bonus to teammates while reducing the surrounding enemy’s Anemo RES.
Because she relies on her ultimate, it’s important to have enough Energy Recharge on her. However, she also has another Ascension Passive where she bestows a flat DMG bonus based on her base ATK. Because of this, the best Faruzan weapon in Genshin Impact should fulfill at least one of her two needs.
1/11 Elegy for the End
Base ATK | 608 |
Sub-Stat | 55.1% Energy Recharge |
Passive | Increases Elemental Mastery by 60. When the Elemental Skills or Elemental Bursts of the character wielding this weapon hit opponents, that character gains a Sigil of Remembrance. This effect can be triggered once every 0.2s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field. When you possess 4 Sigils of Remembrance, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the “Millennial Movement: Farewell Song” effect for 12s. “Millennial Movement: Farewell Song” increases Elemental Mastery by 100 and increases ATK by 20%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Remembrance for 20s. Of the many effects of the “Millennial Movement,” buffs of the same type will not stack. |
Elegy for the End is only viable for C6 Faruzan weapon in Genshin Impact. When a character under Prayerful Wind’s Benefit (Faruzan’s Anemo DMG buff) deals damage, they will automatically trigger a Pressurized Collapse, which is considered an Elemental Skill DMG. The constant trigger of Pressurized Collapse and the damage Faruzan deals when casting Skill and Burst makes it easy for her to trigger Elegy for the End’s passive. The Elemental Mastery boost is somewhat niche, but the ATK increase is welcomed by almost any DPS. All this makes Elegy for the End an S-tier weapon for Faruzan.
2/11 Favonius Warbow
Base ATK | 454 |
Sub-Stat | 61.3% Energy Recharge |
R5 Passive | Crit hits have a 100% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 6s. |
For players who are struggling with Energy, the S-tier Favonius Warbow is always a great option for Faruzan. It has a low base ATK, which will lower her flat damage bonus, but since this part of her kit is a mere bonus, it’s fine to not worry about it.
3/11 Sacrificial Bow
Base ATK | 565 |
Sub-Stat | 30.6% Energy Recharge |
R5 Passive | After dealing damage to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 40% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 30s. |
Apart from using her Burst, players can reduce the enemy’s Anemo RES by using Faruzan’s Pressurized Collapse. At C6, Pressurized Collapse will trigger automatically, but before that, players can trigger it using Faruzan’s Charged Attack (after casting her Skill). Sacrificial Bow can help people do this constantly, on top of having a high base ATK and Energy Recharge sub-stat. Sacrificial Bow ranks in the A-tier for Faruzan weapon in Genshin Impact.
4/11 Skyward Harp
Base ATK | 674 |
Sub-Stat | 22.1% Crit Rate |
Passive | Increases Crit DMG by 20%. Hits have a 60% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 4s. |
Skyward Harp is the first option on the list that’s meant to be a Faruzan weapon with the highest base ATK. Due to its lack of utility, this bow ranks in the A-tier for Faruzan.
5/11 Polar Star
Base ATK | 608 |
Sub-Stat | 33.1% Crit Rate |
Passive | Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG increased by 12%. After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, 1 stack of Ashen Nightstar will be gained for 12s. When 1/2/3/4 stacks of Ashen Nightstar are present, ATK is increased by 10/20/30/48%. The stack of Ashen Nightstar created by the Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst will be counted independently of the others. |
Polar Star may have a lower base ATK, but its passive is far more useful than Skyward Harp. Not only a boost in Skill and Burst DMG, but players can easily collect three stacks thanks to Faruzan’s Charged Attack being a viable move to execute. Polar Star ranks in the A-tier for Faruzan weapon in Genshin Impact.
6/11 Thundering Pulse
Base ATK | 608 |
Sub-Stat | 66.2% Crit DMG |
Passive | Increases ATK by 20% and grants the might of the Thunder Emblem. At stack levels 1/2/3, the Thunder Emblem increases Normal Attack DMG by 12/24/40%. The character will obtain 1 stack of Thunder Emblem in each of the following scenarios: Normal Attack deals DMG (stack lasts 5s), casting Elemental Skill (stack lasts 10s); Energy is less than 100% (stack disappears when Energy is full). Each stack’s duration is calculated independently. |
Thundering Pulse ranks below Polar Star since its passive is far less useful. Nevertheless, this Faruzan weapon still ranks in the A-tier.
7/11 Amos’ Bow
Base ATK | 608 |
Sub-Stat | 49.6% ATK |
Passive | Increases Normal Attack and Charged Attack DMG by 12%. After a Normal or Charged Attack is fired, DMG dealt increases by a further 8% every 0.1 seconds the arrow is in the air for up to 5 times. |
Similar to Thundering Pulse, Amos’ Bow is also only viable for its base ATK. Passive can help Faruzan’s Charged Attack, but after obtaining her C6, players likely won’t use this feature, so it’s practically useless. Therefore, Amos’ Bow has to settle in the A-tier for Faruzan weapon in Genshin Impact.
8/11 Fading Twilight
Base ATK | 565 |
Sub-Stat | 30.6% Energy Recharge |
R5 Passive | Has three states, Evengleam, Afterglow, and Dawnblaze, which increase DMG dealt by 12%/20%/28% respectively. When attacks hit opponents, this weapon will switch to the next state. This weapon can change states once every 7s. The character equipping this weapon can still trigger the state switch while not on the field. |
Fading Twilight has a decent base ATK, an Energy Recharge sub-stat, and it’s free! Its passive is mediocre since Faruzan’s main feature is not in her damage, but it places in the A-tier nevertheless.
9/11 Viridescent Hunt
Base ATK | 510 |
Sub-Stat | 27.6% Crit Rate |
R5 Passive | Upon hit, Normal and Aimed Shot Attacks have a 50% chance to generate a Cyclone, which will continuously attract surrounding opponents, dealing 40% of ATK as DMG to these opponents every 0.5s for 4s. This effect can only occur once every 14. |
Viridescent Hunt can provide minor crowd control for pre-C6 Faruzan. However, if she’s C6, this bow ranks in the B-tier for Faruzan weapon in Genshin Impact.
10/11 The Stringless
Base ATK | 510 |
Sub-Stat | 165 Elemental Mastery |
R5 Passive | Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 24%. |
The Stringless has a rather awkward sub-stat, but if players are seeking higher personal DPS from C6 Faruzan, then this bow ranks fine in the B-tier.
11/11 Alley Hunter
Base ATK | 565 |
Sub-Stat | 27.6% ATK |
R5 Passive | While the character equipped with this weapon is in the party but not on the field, their DMG increases by 2% every second up to a max of 20%. When the character is on the field for more than 4s, the aforementioned DMG buff decreases by 4% per second until it reaches 0%. |
Similar to The Stringless, Alley Hunter is also viable for Faruzan’s DPS. However, there are far better and more accessible options for Faruzan weapons, so this bow has to settle with the B-tier.
