Gameplay Difficulty

As a support, she’s not very difficult to use. Players simply have to use her Skill, Charged Attack, then her Burst. However, what makes Faruzan difficult to use is her Burst mechanic. After casting her ultimate, the Burst will move around, and players need to ensure their characeter is inside the Burst’s AoE to benefit from its buff. Consequently, the enemies also must be within the AoE to get Anemo shred.

After unlocking Faruzan’s C6 however, active Anemo characters will trigger Pressurized Collapse if they’re affected by Faruzan’s buff. Since this effect decreases the enemy’s Anemo RES, as long as players maintain Faruzan’s buff, the enemies will get the Anemo RES reduction.

Building Difficulty

Fortunately, to make up for Faruzan’s clunky mechanic, she has a low building difficulty. Players simply need to ensure Faruzan has enough Energy Recharge, and that should be sufficient. It’s also a good idea to give her weapons with high Base ATK to enhance her A4.

Team Composition Flexibility

As a dedicated Anemo support, Faruzan is clearly niche when it comes to flexibility.

Role Flexibility

Faruzan is only viable as a support for Anemo units. She doesn’t have a large potential as a sub-DPS.

At C0, Faruzan requires enemies to be in her Burst’s AoE to reduce their Anemo RES, while at C6, the Anemo RES mechanic becomes highly important thanks to the added crowd control. However, both aspects are rather useless when she’s used against bosses.

Faruzan will still perform as a support for Anemo DPS, but apart from that, she doesn’t offer other utilities.

As a dedicated support, Faruzan is an excellent Spiral Abyss unit as long as players bring the correct main DPS with her.
