Genshin Impact: Hu Tao Constellations Guide
Hu Tao Constellation in Genshin Impact can increase her power and improve her playstyle, especially her C1.
Frankly, Hu Tao is mediocre. The only reason why she's currently a top-tier unit is the existence of Xingqiu. Without the Guhua Disciple, Hu Tao definitely won't be seeing the popularity she has now. This means, despite Hu Tao's powerful DPS, she's practically locked to having either Xingqiu or Yelan (or both) in her team.
Without her C1, Hu Tao demands stamina management to use. Her primary power comes from her Charged Attack, so losing stamina for this move will greatly reduce her DPS. Additionally, not having stamina will also block players from dodging, which can be dangerous considering Hu Tao’s tendency to have low HP.
Other than the fact that Hu Tao is locked with Xingqiu or Yelan, players are also limited to not bring another unit that may mess up her Vaporize. For example, while Xiangling is one of the best characters in the game, bringing her in Hu Tao’s team may remove the Hydro that’s supposed to Vaporize her Charged Attack.
Hu Tao is solely a DPS, and a fairly selfish one too. Her Pyro Infusion will end if she’s swapped out, but luckily, the duration isn’t that long, unlike Cyno or Razor.
Considering her top-tier Vaporize DMG, Hu Tao is one of those characters that can be brought to cheese the Spiral Abyss.
