Jean is arguably the best cleanser in the game, with an Elemental Burst that continuously imbues the character within with Anemo. As long as players remain inside Jean's Dandelion Field, death should be easy to dodge. However, the best part about Jean is actually something else entirely. Her Elemental Skill allows people to toss enemies around, making them suffer fall DMG upon returning to earth. This ability can even be used to yeet friends off the cliff—momentarily, at least.
Since she’s primarily a Burst healer, Jean is a no-brainer to use. However, when it comes to using her Elemental Skill, it can be quite troubling for new users. This struggle is even more apparent if players are using mobile devices.
Jean’s healing scales with ATK, but 5-star Sword isn’t required since she heals just fine even with 4-star weapons. Jean is also not demanding when it comes to artifact mainstat and set, which makes her a low-investment character.
As an Anemo healer, Jean can practically fit in any team comp. For Cryo, Hydro, Pyro, and Electro DPS, Jean can provides RES reduction from Viridescent Venerer; while for other Elements, she can still be a top-tier healer.
Since Jean’s healing scales with ATK and she can also heal via her Normal Attack, Jean can perform as a main DPS in a team (on top of being a healer). With full EM build, the Acting Grandmaster can also be a Pyro Swirler in a Sunfire comp.
Most weekly boss has a high mobility while Jean’s Burst remains in a fixed AoE. This means melee characters can’t stay in her Burst AoE to heal. Additionally, Jean also can’t yeet bosses, which means her Elemental Skill is also downgraded.
Similar to the issue with weekly boss, Jean is highly limited against world bosses. However, since most world bosses are immobile, she’s at least viable as a reliable healer.
If players need a reliable support and healer, Jean can easily fit in their Spiral Abyss teams.
