Barbara is one of the first healers that most players would have in Genshin Impact. However, players are likely to ditch her once they have a better healer or shielder. The Deaconess is mostly frowned upon due to her constant Hydro application, which causes people to get Frozen often. One good thing about Barbara, however, is her C6. With her final Constellation, Barbara can revive a fallen ally. Although the character will revive with no Energy, this can still come in handy if players made minor mistake in content like Spiral Abyss.

Gameplay Difficulty

Barbara is all about healing. Her Elemental Skill heals the on-field character in an interval, while her Burst restores a large sum of HP to the entire team. Barbara can also heal the party if she uses Normal and Charged Attack when her Elemental Skill is active.

 

Additionally, Barbara’s Melody Loop can be a source of Hydro application. This applies to both nearby enemies and to the active character. This means players can easily cleanse Elemental status like Pyro, Dendro, and Quicken, but also make them vulnerable to Frozen.
