Venti

Anemo Bow

The Anemo Archon was the most powerful unit in the game, but even though his viability has long been reduced, he's still the best crowd controller that can cheese any challenges that involve light enemies. Not only in battle, Venti is also highly useful in exploration, having the ability to summon wind current, trigger Anemo Resonance, and also reduce stamina consumption when gliding.

Review

Difficulty: ★☆☆☆☆ (Very easy)

Gameplay Difficulty

Venti is extremely simple to use. Since his Normal Attack is useless, all players need to do when using him is cast his Tap Skill, then his Burst. One bad thing Venti has is that his ultimate has a terrible aiming and would sometime get casted into vicinity.

Building Difficulty

Venti can be built on EM or ATK, but EM is generally better thanks to the reaction buff in version 1.6. Players can play him with 4pc Viridescent Venerer, 4pc Emblem of Severed Fate, 4pc Noblesse Oblige, or nothing at all. Even with random sets and weapons, as long as Venti can maintain his Burst, players will find that he has an amazing value.

Flexibility: ★★★★★ (Excellent)

Team Composition Flexibility

As long as players need a crowd controller, Venti will always be viable.

Weekly Boss: ★★☆☆☆ (Poor)

Venti’s main feature is his crowd control, battery utility, and RES reduction to enemies. However, against bosses, Venti can’t CC them and it’s hard to trigger Swirl with his Burst (which in turns will not activate his battery feature from his A4).

World Boss: ★☆☆☆☆ (Terrible)

Spiral Abyss: ★★★★★ (Excellent)

Although he’s the best unit to bring against small enemies, Venti’s viability drops largely when the chambers consist of bosses or large enemies.
