Heizou sets history as the first Genshin Impact Catalyst user with melee playstyle. He makes a fun DPS as a plain Anemo DMG dealer or driver. Unfortunately, as a 4-star character, his scaling falls behind the 5-star units.

Most World Bosses can’t have their RES reduced using Swirl, which lowers Heizou’s value.

Spiral Abyss: ★★★☆☆ (Average)

Considering there are better Anemo DPS like Xiao and Wanderer, Heizou has to settle wih a 3-star ranking for Spiral Abyss.
